How Xepsin D Tablet works

Xepsin D Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Trypsin, Bromelain, Rutoside and Diclofenac. Trypsin and Bromelain are enzymes. They increase blood supply and make the body produce substances that fight pain and swelling. Rutoside is an antioxidant which protects the body from damage by chemicals (free radicals) and further reduces swelling. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

How to take Xepsin D Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Xepsin D Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Xepsin D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Xepsin D than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
