Treatment and prevention of Blood clots
Apixator 2.5 Tablet is a novel oral anticoagulant (NOAC) that helps prevent blood clot formation. It works by directly and selectively inhibiting factor Xa, an important clotting factor involved in thrombin generation. It reduces thrombin formation and helps prevent the development and spread of blood clots.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Apixator 2.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, active bleeding disorders, or those undergoing surgery. Regular monitoring may be required.
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors and inducers, other anticoagulants, NSAIDs, and antiplatelet agents
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), protect from light and moisture.
