Clopilet A 75 is a prescription medicine containing Aspirin (75mg) + Clopidogrel (75mg). It is used for heart attack and stroke Treatment of Acute coronary syndrome. It belongs to the group of medicines called Thienopyridine, NSAID.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Clopilet A 75 are bruising easily, bleeding for longer from cuts, nosebleeds and indigestion. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Clopilet A 75 works.
Most side effects of Clopilet A are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clopilet A 75 Capsule should be taken with or after food.
Clopilet A 75 Capsule is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines: Aspirin and Clopidogrel which prevent heart attack. They work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decrease the formation of harmful blood clots. It is also used to treat acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
Use with caution in patients with a history of bleeding disorders, peptic ulcer disease, or liver impairment. Discontinue prior to surgery.
If you miss a dose of Clopilet A 75 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
An overdose of this medicine can cause serious and difficult-to-control bleeding. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Anticoagulants, NSAIDs, SSRIs, CYP2C19 inhibitors
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from light and moisture.
