Corbis 2.5 is a prescription medicine containing Bisoprolol (2.5mg). It is used for high blood pressure, chest pain (angina) and heart failure. It belongs to the group of medicines called Calcium Channel Blocker.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Corbis 2.5 are nausea Headache Fatigue Constipation Diarrhea Dizziness Cold extremities. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Corbis 2.5 works.
Most side effects of Corbis are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Corbis 2.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Corbis 2.5 Tablet is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis, heart failure, or liver impairment. Monitor blood pressure regularly.
Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
An overdose of this medicine can cause a dangerously slow heartbeat, a severe fall in blood pressure, wheezing and fits. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
CYP3A4 inhibitors, other antihypertensives, simvastatin
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from light and moisture.
