Nebicard 5MG Tab 10S

Nebicard 5MG Tab 10S contains Nebivolol 5 mg (as nebivolol hydrochloride) tablet. Prescription required.

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events related to uncontrolled BP (as part of overall management).

Nebivolol is a cardioselective beta-1 blocker that reduces heart rate and cardiac output, lowering blood pressure. It also enhances nitric oxide–mediated vasodilation, helping relax blood vessels.

Take as prescribed by a doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Do not stop abruptly (may worsen angina/trigger heart problems). Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask low sugar symptoms), thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, and in elderly. Contraindicated/caution in severe bradycardia, heart block, cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure not stabilized, and severe liver impairment. Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly.

Other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering),verapamil/diltiazem (risk of bradycardia/heart block),digoxin (bradycardia/AV block),antiarrhythmics like amiodarone (conduction effects),clonidine (rebound hypertension if stopped),NSAIDs (may reduce antihypertensive effect),CYP2D6 inhibitors such as fluoxetine/paroxetine/quinidine (may increase nebivolol levels)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
