Pyrigesic 1000 mg Tablet

Pyrigesic 1000 mg Tablet contains Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 1000 mg.

Fever, mild to moderate pain such as headache, body ache, toothache, backache, muscle pain, and pain associated with cold/flu

Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system and acting on the heat-regulating center in the brain. It has minimal anti-inflammatory effect compared to NSAIDs.

Oral tablet. Take as advised by a doctor; usually taken with or without food with water. Do not exceed the total daily dose of paracetamol from all sources; avoid taking multiple paracetamol-containing products together.

Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, abdominal pain, rash, itching, increased liver enzymes (with high doses)

Do not exceed recommended dose due to risk of serious liver damage. Use with caution in liver disease, chronic alcohol use, malnutrition, and severe kidney impairment. Seek medical help if rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, or signs of liver injury occur (yellowing of eyes/skin, dark urine). Not for prolonged use without medical advice.

Alcohol, warfarin/other coumarin anticoagulants (with regular use), isoniazid, rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, other hepatotoxic drugs

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
