Treatment of Bacterial infections
Ritecef-O 200 Tablet DT is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Ritecef-O 200 Tablet DT may be taken with or without food.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
Use with caution in patients with a history of seizures, renal impairment, or myasthenia gravis. Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Antacids, sucralfate, iron supplements may reduce the absorption of Ofloxacin. Caution with other CNS-active drugs.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from light and moisture.
