Susten-100 Injection 1 ml is a prescription medicine containing Progesterone (100mg/ml). It is used for female infertility Hormone replacement therapy. It belongs to the group of medicines called Hormone preparation.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Susten-100 Injection 1 ml are nausea, headache, breast tenderness and mood change. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Susten-100 Injection 1 ml works.
Female infertility Hormone replacement therapy
Most side effects of Susten-100 are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

SustEN 100 Injection works by preparing the uterus for pregnancy and maintaining a healthy environment for fetal development. It thickens the uterine lining to support implantation and prevents contractions that could lead to early pregnancy loss. Additionally, it helps regulate the menstrual cycle and balances other reproductive hormones. In hormone therapy, it supports overall hormonal stability and helps manage symptoms related to hormonal imbalances.
Take a hormonal medicine at the same time every day; the effect depends on a steady level. Seek urgent care for sudden chest pain, breathlessness, severe headache, weakness on one side, or pain and swelling in a calf — hormone preparations can raise the risk of clots. Tell your doctor if you smoke, have migraine with aura, high blood pressure, or a family history of clots or breast cancer, before starting. Report any unusual or heavy vaginal bleeding to your doctor.
If you miss a dose of SustEN 100 Injection, consult the doctor.
An overdose of this medicine may cause nausea, vomiting and withdrawal bleeding. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Store as printed on the carton — some injections need refrigeration and must not be frozen. Keep out of the reach of children.
