Bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media, bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, bone and joint infections caused by susceptible organisms
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from degradation by beta-lactamase–producing bacteria, thereby extending its spectrum.
Take as prescribed by a doctor. Usually taken orally with food to reduce stomach upset; swallow with water at evenly spaced intervals. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve; do not skip doses.
