How Ascoril + Tablet works

Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. Together, they make breathing easier.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ascoril 100mg/2.5mg/8mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Ascoril 100mg/2.5mg/8mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Ascoril + than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease.
