Aziderm Cream-10 % contains Azelaic Acid (10%w/w). It belongs to the Topical anti-acne agent class of medicines.
Aziderm 10% Cream is used in the treatment of acne.
Azelaic acid works by killing the acne-causing bacteria and reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) of the skin.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Aziderm Cream-10 % as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Aziderm Cream-10 % than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Aziderm Cream-10 % are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Not recommended for individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
