Benadon Tablet contains Pyridoxine (40mg). It belongs to the Vitamin (Vitamin B6 / Pyridoxine) class of medicines.

How Benadon Tablet works

Pyridoxine is converted to pyridoxal-5-phosphate, a coenzyme essential for amino acid metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis. It supports normal nerve function and red blood cell formation, correcting symptoms caused by vitamin B6 deficiency.

How to take Benadon Tablet

Take as directed by the physician. Usually taken orally with water, with or without food; taking after food may reduce stomach upset. Do not exceed recommended dose and duration.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

An overdose of this medicine in very large doses taken over months can itself damage nerves, causing numbness and unsteadiness. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Levodopa (without carbidopa) may have reduced effect, Phenytoin, Phenobarbital, Isoniazid, Penicillamine, Oral contraceptives
