Cabergoline (0.25mg)
Cabgolin 0.25 is used for cabgolin 0.25 Tablet is used in treatment of high levels of prolactin. It is also used to stops breast milk production (lactation) in case of stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.

Cabgolin 0.25 contains Cabergoline (0.25mg). It belongs to the Dopamine agonist class of medicines.
Cabgolin 0.25 Tablet works by decreasing the release of prolactin, a hormone that stimulates breast milk production. This stops breast milk production in case of stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cabgolin 0.25 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Cabgolin as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Cabgolin than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Cabgolin are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, psychiatric disorders, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
May interact with other dopamine agonists, antipsychotics, and medications that affect blood pressure.
