How Cyclopam Drops works

How to take Cyclopam Drops

Missed dose and overdose

Warnings and precautions

Dicyclomine is generally not recommended in infants under 6 months due to risk of serious side effects (breathing difficulty, seizures, coma); use only if specifically prescribed. Avoid in intestinal obstruction, paralytic ileus, severe ulcerative colitis, myasthenia gravis, glaucoma, urinary retention. Use caution in fever/hot weather due to reduced sweating.

Do not take Cyclopam if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with glaucoma, urinary retention, or a blockage of the gut. Magnesium-containing antacids are avoided in significant kidney disease.

Inform your doctor if you experience severe or long-lasting pain in your stomach. Give your child a diet that is rich in fiber and low in fermentable sugars. Avoid giving gas-producing foods to your child such as beans, onions, carrots, raisins, and bananas. Encourage your child to exercise daily as it has potential benefits in constipation and in improving overall wellbeing. In children less than 2 months of age, do not give Cyclopam Suspension without ruling out the reasons that might be making your child cry. Give Cyclopam Suspension only if your child shows actual signs of abdominal discomfort or pain after consulting your child’s doctor. Children may experience abdominal pain due to migraines. The other associated symptoms can be a headache, nausea, anorexia vomiting, and pallor. Since Cyclopam Suspension is strictly for abdominal pain, rule out such types of pain before giving this medicine.
