Spironolactone (50mg) + Torasemide (10mg)

Uses of Dytor Plus 10 Tablet

Edema (fluid retention) due to heart failure, liver cirrhosis or kidney disease; management of hypertension where a diuretic combination is needed

• •Reduces swelling due to fluid retention
• •Helps ease breathlessness in heart failure
• •Lowers blood pressure in selected patients
• •Helps maintain potassium compared with loop diuretic alone

How it works

Torsemide is a loop diuretic that increases salt and water excretion from kidneys to reduce fluid overload and blood pressure. Spironolactone is an aldosterone antagonist (potassium-sparing diuretic) that helps remove excess fluid while reducing potassium loss and counteracting aldosterone effects.

Directions for use

Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily in the morning to reduce night-time urination. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice; periodic blood tests for electrolytes and kidney function may be needed.
