Dytor Plus 5 Tablet contains Torsemide 5 mg + Spironolactone 25 mg. It belongs to the Loop diuretic + Aldosterone antagonist (potassium-sparing diuretic) class of medicines.

How Dytor Plus 5 Tablet works

Torsemide promotes salt and water excretion by inhibiting reabsorption in the loop of Henle, reducing fluid overload and blood pressure. Spironolactone blocks aldosterone, increasing sodium excretion while conserving potassium and reducing aldosterone-driven fluid retention.

How to take Dytor Plus 5 Tablet

Take as directed by the doctor, usually once daily in the morning. Can be taken with or without food; maintain adequate hydration as advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes (especially potassium) may be required.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Warnings and precautions

Do not take Dytor Plus if

ACE inhibitors/ARBs (hyperkalemia), NSAIDs (reduced effect/kidney risk), lithium (toxicity), digoxin (arrhythmias with electrolyte changes), potassium supplements/salt substitutes, other diuretics, trimethoprim (hyperkalemia), corticosteroids (electrolyte changes)
