Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency and nutritional anemia (especially due to poor dietary intake, blood loss, or increased requirements such as pregnancy/lactation) and to replenish iron and vitamin stores.
Iron replenishes body iron stores and supports hemoglobin formation for oxygen transport. Folic acid and vitamin B12 support red blood cell production and maturation, helping correct anemia due to deficiency.
Take by mouth as advised by a doctor. Usually taken once daily after food to reduce stomach upset; swallow with water. Avoid taking at the same time as milk, tea/coffee, antacids, calcium or iron-binding medicines; keep a 2–4 hour gap.

Do not use in iron overload conditions (hemochromatosis/hemosiderosis) or non–iron-deficiency anemia unless prescribed. Keep out of reach of children—iron overdose can be fatal. Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or liver disease. If severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, or allergic reactions occur, seek medical help.
