Fpstatin CV 10 Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel, which prevents heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medication which prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.

How to take Fpstatin Cv 10 Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fpstatin CV 10 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Grapefruit juice raises the level of some statins — avoid it. Certain antibiotics, antifungals and fibrates increase the risk of muscle damage when combined. Anti-inflammatory painkillers, including over-the-counter ones, sharply raise the bleeding risk. Combining two blood thinners multiplies the risk — never add one yourself.
