Composition

Glimepiride 2 mg + Metformin hydrochloride 1000 mg (sustained/extended release) + Voglibose 0.3 mg tablet

Uses of Glycomet Trio 2 Forte

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (when diet and exercise alone or dual therapy is insufficient); helps control post‑meal and fasting blood glucose

• •Lowers fasting and post‑meal blood glucose
• •Improves insulin secretion and sensitivity
• •Reduces hepatic glucose production
• •Helps reduce post‑prandial glucose spikes
• •Supports long‑term glycaemic control (HbA1c)

How it works

Glimepiride increases insulin release from the pancreas and improves insulin sensitivity. Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and improves peripheral glucose uptake. Voglibose delays intestinal carbohydrate absorption, lowering post‑meal glucose spikes.

Directions for use

Take orally as prescribed, usually once daily with the first main meal (or as advised). Swallow whole; do not crush/chew (metformin SR/ER). Take with food to reduce stomach upset; monitor blood glucose regularly.
