Regular human insulin replaces/supplements natural insulin. It helps glucose enter muscle and fat cells and reduces glucose production by the liver, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
For subcutaneous injection using compatible insulin pen/cartridge system as prescribed. Usually injected about 30 minutes before meals; dose and timing individualized based on blood glucose. Do not share pens/needles; rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, upper arm). Use only if solution is clear and colorless; follow doctor’s instructions for mixing if used with other insulins.
Common side effects of INSUGEN N REFIL 3ML may include:
Risk of hypoglycaemia—monitor blood glucose and know symptoms (sweating, tremor, hunger, confusion). Dose adjustments may be needed with changes in diet, activity, illness, stress, kidney/liver impairment. Do not use during episodes of hypoglycaemia or if allergic to insulin/excipients. Use caution when driving/operating machinery due to hypoglycaemia risk. Ensure correct insulin type/strength and cartridge compatibility; do not use if frozen, cloudy, or discoloured.
