Clopidogrel 75 mg (as clopidogrel bisulfate) tablet
Prevention of blood clots (antiplatelet) in patients with history of heart attack (myocardial infarction), stroke, peripheral arterial disease; also used in acute coronary syndrome and after coronary stent/angioplasty as prescribed.
Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medicine that irreversibly blocks the P2Y12 (ADP) receptor on platelets. This prevents platelet activation and aggregation, reducing formation of harmful blood clots in arteries.
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily, with or without food. Swallow whole with water at the same time each day. Do not stop on your own; sudden stopping may increase clot risk, especially after stent.
Common side effects of ISICLOP 75 TAB may include:
Risk of bleeding (may be serious); inform doctor before any surgery/dental procedures. Use caution in patients with active bleeding, peptic ulcer, bleeding disorders, recent surgery/trauma. Rare: thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP)—seek urgent care for fever, weakness, neurological symptoms, unusual bruising. Use caution in liver disease. Not a painkiller; avoid self-medicating with other blood thinners/NSAIDs without advice.
