Kalpadyn -Mc Tablet contains Methylcobalamin (500mcg) + Vitamin C (50mg) + Alpha Lipoic Acid (100mg) + Riboflavin (2mg) + Vitamin B1 (2mg) + Folic Acid (50mcg) + Vitamin D3 (200IU) + Vitamin B6 (1.5mg) + Niacinamide (25mg) + Vitamin E (10IU) + Calcium Pantothenate (5mg) + Lutein (1mg) + Beta Carotene (5.17mcg) + Chromium (2.5mg) + Selenium Dioxide (1.4mg) + Zinc Oxide (65mg) + Copper Sulphate (15mg) + Manganese Sulphate (60mcg). It belongs to the Multivitamin-multimineral antioxidant (with methylcobalamin and alpha lipoic acid) class of medicines.

How Kalpadyn -Mc Tablet works

Provides essential B-complex vitamins (including methylcobalamin and folate) that support nerve function, red blood cell formation and energy metabolism. Antioxidants such as alpha lipoic acid, vitamins C and E, lutein and beta-carotene help reduce oxidative stress. Minerals like zinc, copper, manganese, chromium and selenium support enzyme functions, immunity and metabolic processes.

How to take Kalpadyn -Mc Tablet

Tablet for oral use. Take as directed by a physician, typically 1 tablet once daily after food with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose; swallow whole.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely to cause serious harm, because the body passes surplus B vitamins out in the urine. It can cause vomiting, stomach pain and, with some minerals, damage over the longer term. It can raise blood calcium dangerously, causing thirst, frequent urination, vomiting, confusion and kidney damage. It can cause vomiting and stomach pain, and with iron can be dangerous, especially in children. It is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Antidiabetic medicines/insulin (may enhance glucose-lowering with alpha lipoic acid/chromium), levothyroxine (minerals may reduce absorption—separate by 4 hours), tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics (zinc/minerals reduce absorption—separate by 2-6 hours), antacids/iron supplements (may affect absorption), warfarin/anticoagulants (vitamin E may increase bleeding risk at higher doses), cholestyramine/orlistat (may reduce absorption of fat-soluble vitamins)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light and moisture. Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.
