How Lithohenz Tablet works

Calcium provides essential mineral required for bone and teeth strength and for normal muscle and nerve function. Vitamin D3 increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate and helps maintain normal blood calcium levels, supporting bone mineralization.

How to take Lithohenz Tablet

Tablet for oral use. Take as advised by doctor; commonly 1 tablet once daily, preferably after food. Swallow with water; do not exceed recommended dose unless prescribed.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Lithohenz as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Lithohenz than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Interactions with other medicines

Levothyroxine (separate by 4 hours), tetracyclines and quinolone antibiotics (separate by 2-6 hours), bisphosphonates (separate by at least 30-60 minutes and take on empty stomach as directed), iron and zinc supplements (separate dosing), thiazide diuretics (risk of hypercalcemia), digoxin/cardiac glycosides (arrhythmia risk with hypercalcemia), antacids containing aluminium/magnesium (may affect absorption)
