Preega M 75 mg Capsule contains Pregabalin 75 mg + Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) (strength unknown). It belongs to the Gabapentinoid (pregabalin) + Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) class of medicines.

How Preega M 75 mg Capsule works

Pregabalin binds to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the CNS, reducing release of excitatory neurotransmitters and thereby decreasing nerve pain. Methylcobalamin is an active form of vitamin B12 that supports myelin sheath repair and nerve regeneration, helping improve neuropathic symptoms when B12 deficiency contributes.

How to take Preega M 75 mg Capsule

Capsule for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, preferably at the same time each day; may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or open. Do not stop suddenly—dose should be tapered under medical advice.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Preega M as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Preega M than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Most side effects of Preega M are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• blurred vision
• dry mouth
• weight gain
• peripheral edema (swelling)
• constipation
• fatigue
• difficulty in concentration
