Neuropathic (nerve) pain such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia; may be used for other neuropathic pain conditions as prescribed

How it works

Pregabalin binds to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This reduces release of excitatory neurotransmitters and decreases abnormal nerve signaling, thereby relieving neuropathic pain.

Directions for use

Oral sustained-release tablet: swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew or break. Take at the same time each day as directed by the doctor; preferably with/after food if stomach upset occurs. Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney disease; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
