Toxifite Tablet contains Silymarin (140mg) + Lecithin (500mg).
Fatty liver disease
Toxifite Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silymarin and Lecithin. Silymarin is an antioxidant which protects the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Lecithin prevents fats from accumulating in the liver. It also serves as an important source of the nutrient choline which helps the liver to function properly.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Toxifite Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Toxifite Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Toxifite than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Toxifite are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
