Amoxicillin 500 mg + Clavulanic acid 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate) per tablet
Bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), ear infections (otitis media), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and other susceptible infections
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, protecting amoxicillin and broadening its spectrum.
Tablet to be taken orally as prescribed by the doctor. Usually taken with food (start of a meal) to reduce stomach upset; swallow whole with water. Take at evenly spaced intervals and complete the full course even if you feel better.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Trumox Cv 625 Forte Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Prescription-only antibiotic; do not use for viral infections. Avoid if allergic to penicillins/cephalosporins or history of severe hypersensitivity. Use with caution in liver disease (may cause hepatitis/cholestatic jaundice), kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed), infectious mononucleosis (higher risk of rash). Seek medical help for severe diarrhoea (possible C. difficile), severe skin reactions, or signs of allergy (swelling, breathing difficulty).
