Uthral 500 Tablet

Uthral 500 Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

In Bacterial infection

Uthral stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow and multiply, so the body's defences can clear the infection.

In Chest infection

Uthral treats chest infections, including the 'atypical' bacteria some other antibiotics miss, easing the cough and fever.

In Throat infection

Uthral clears the bacteria behind a sore throat and tonsillitis, and is often chosen for people allergic to penicillin.

In Skin infection

Uthral treats bacterial infections of the skin and soft tissue, reducing redness, swelling and pain.

It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Uthral 500 Tablet .

Uthral 500 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.<br>There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.

Not expected to affect your ability to drive.

KidneyCAUTION

Uthral 500 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Uthral 500 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
