Type 2 diabetes mellitus (post‑prandial/high after‑meal blood glucose) as an add‑on to diet and exercise; may be used with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.
Voglibose is an alpha‑glucosidase inhibitor that delays digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the small intestine. This reduces the rise in blood glucose after meals and helps improve overall glycaemic control.
Oral tablet. Typically taken just before the start of meals (or with the first bite) as prescribed. Follow diet/exercise advice; do not skip meals after taking a dose.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Vogiformin 0.3mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Vogiformin than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Vogiformin are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
