Uses of XYLOCAINE NF CREAM

Local anesthesia to relieve pain, burning and itching from minor skin conditions; used for numbing before minor dermatological procedures; symptomatic relief in hemorrhoids/anal fissures and genital itching as advised by a doctor.

How it works

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve endings. This prevents initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, producing temporary numbness and pain relief at the application site.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Use the smallest amount needed; avoid applying on large areas, broken/irritated skin, or under occlusive dressings unless prescribed. Wash hands after use; avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and inside nose.
