How Zoryl M2 Forte works

Check kidney function before and during therapy; use caution in liver disease and heart failure. Stop temporarily before iodinated contrast imaging and major surgery as advised by doctor. Long-term metformin may reduce vitamin B12 levels; monitor if anaemia/neuropathy.

Alcohol (increases hypoglycaemia/lactic acidosis risk), insulin/other antidiabetics (additive hypoglycaemia), beta-blockers (mask hypoglycaemia), corticosteroids/thiazide diuretics (raise glucose), ACE inhibitors (may enhance glucose-lowering), fluoroquinolones (glucose disturbances), rifampicin (reduces effect), azole antifungals/clarithromycin (increase sulfonylurea effect), NSAIDs/salicylates (increase hypoglycaemia risk), iodinated contrast media (lactic acidosis risk)
