Metpure XL 12.5 Tablet is a prescription medicine containing Metoprolol Succinate (47.5mg). It is used for stroke. It belongs to the group of medicines called Beta-blocker.
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Metpure XL 12.5 Tablet are tiredness, cold hands and feet, slow pulse and dizziness. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Metpure XL 12.5 Tablet works.

Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Metpure -XL 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Avoid Metpure -XL 50 Tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
Metpure -XL 50 Tablet is a long-acting beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Metpure -XL 50 Tablet prevents migraines by blocking stress hormones, stabilizing blood vessels, and calming nerve activity. This reduces sudden blood flow changes and physical stress, lowering migraine frequency and severity.
Use with caution in patients with asthma, diabetes, or severe heart conditions. Do not discontinue abruptly.
If you miss a dose of Metpure -XL 50 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
An overdose of this medicine can cause a dangerously slow heartbeat, a severe fall in blood pressure, wheezing and fits. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
May interact with other antihypertensives, antiarrhythmics, and certain antidepressants.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from light and moisture.
