For capillary blood sampling (finger-prick) to obtain a small blood drop for glucose testing and other point-of-care diagnostic tests

A lancet is a small sterile needle that pricks the skin to create a tiny puncture. This enables collection of a small capillary blood sample for testing.

Use with a compatible lancing device (if applicable) as per device instructions. Wash and dry hands, load a new lancet, prick the side of fingertip, collect blood sample, then safely discard lancet in a sharps container. Single-use only; do not reuse or share.

Pain at puncture site, minor bleeding, bruising, skin irritation, infection (rare)

For single patient use only; do not reuse to avoid infection and blunting. Do not use if pack is opened, damaged, or lancet appears contaminated. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of used lancets in an approved sharps container. If you have bleeding disorders, are on anticoagulants, or have poor circulation/neuropathy, consult a healthcare professional for safe technique.

No known drug interactions (medical device); use extra caution if taking blood thinners (e.g., warfarin, heparin) due to increased bleeding risk

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in original packaging until use.
