How Abdec Drops works

ABDEC Drops is a multivitamin supplement. It replenishes essential vitamins required for normal metabolism, immunity, vision, skin and bone health. Correcting deficiencies helps restore normal physiological functions and supports overall growth.

How to take Abdec Drops

Oral drops. Shake well before use. Measure with the provided dropper and give as advised by a doctor/label; may be given directly or mixed with a small amount of water/milk/food. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Abdec as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Abdec than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Abdec Drops

Most side effects of Abdec are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Warnings and precautions

Use with caution in liver disease or history of hypervitaminosis (especially vitamins A and D). Do not use multiple vitamin supplements together unless advised. Accidental overdose (particularly vitamin A/D) can be harmful in children—keep out of reach of children. Stop and seek medical advice if allergic reactions occur. Diabetic patients: some formulations may contain sugar—check label.

Interactions with other medicines

Retinoids (e.g., isotretinoin) and vitamin A (toxicity risk), tetracyclines with vitamin A (raised intracranial pressure risk), warfarin/other anticoagulants (vitamin K-containing formulations may reduce effect), antiepileptics (may reduce vitamin D/folate status), cholestyramine/orlistat/mineral oil (reduced absorption of fat-soluble vitamins)
