Adcef Instause

Adcef Insta Use Syrup is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin & soft-tissue, ear, blood, genital and lungs (pneumonia).

In Bacterial infection

Adcef Instause kills a wide range of bacteria by breaking down their cell walls, bringing the infection under control. Finishing the full course prevents it coming back.

In Chest infection

Adcef Instause treats bacterial infections of the chest, easing the cough, fever and breathlessness as the bacteria are cleared.

In Urinary infection

Adcef Instause clears the bacteria behind burning, frequency and pain on passing urine.

In Ear and throat infection

Adcef Instause treats bacterial infections of the ear, throat and sinuses, relieving the pain and fever they cause.

In Typhoid

Adcef Instause kills the typhoid bacteria in the blood and gut, bringing down the fever and preventing the complications of untreated typhoid.

Alcohol

Adcef Insta Use Syrup may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Adcef Insta Use Syrup is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingUNSAFE

Adcef Insta Use Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.<br>Avoid prolonged use of Adcef Insta Use Syrup, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.

Not expected to affect your ability to drive.

KidneyCAUTION

Adcef Insta Use Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Adcef Insta Use Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

LiverCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Adcef Insta Use Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Adcef Insta Use Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

• Space the doses evenly and complete the course.
• Keep the reconstituted syrup as the pharmacist instructed and discard it after the stated number of days.
