Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Aderef 400 mg contains Ademetionine (400mg).
Treatment of Liver disease
Aderef 400mg Tablet works by helping the liver make and restore important substances that protect its cells. It increases the liver’s natural antioxidants, reduces damage from toxins, and improves the flow of bile. This supports healthier liver function in conditions like intrahepatic cholestasis and chronic liver disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aderef 400mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

If you miss a dose of Aderef 400mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
