How Advan Thf Cream works

Advan-THF Cream is a combination of three medicines: Hydroquinone, Tretinoin and Fluocinolone acetonide which treat melasma (dark spots on skin). The exact way this triple combination improves melasma is not fully known. Hydroquinone helps reduce melanin (skin pigment), tretinoin promotes skin cell turnover, and fluocinolone acetonide reduces skin inflammation.

How to take Advan Thf Cream

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Advan-THF Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Advan Thf than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Most side effects of Advan Thf are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
