Salbutamol (2mg/5ml)
Relief of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma and COPD (including chronic bronchitis and emphysema); wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness due to reversible airway obstruction
Salbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (SABA). It relaxes bronchial smooth muscle, leading to bronchodilation and improved airflow, providing quick relief from wheeze and breathlessness.
Oral syrup; use only as prescribed by a doctor. Measure with a calibrated spoon/cup. Can be taken with or without food; if it upsets the stomach, take after food. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or frequency.
