Treatment of Bacterial infections
Aziwok 600 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aziwok 600 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Aziwok 600 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Aziwok than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Aziwok are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Aziwok. Some combinations can change how Aziwok works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Aziwok below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Take Aziwok 600 Tablet exactly as prescribed and complete the full course, even if you start feeling better. Stopping Aziwok 600 Tablet early may allow the infection to return and become harder to treat. Take Aziwok 600 Tablet at the same time each day to maintain consistent antibiotic levels in the body. Avoid taking antacids within 2 hours before or after taking Aziwok 600 Tablet, as they may affect absorption. Take Aziwok 600 Tablet with food, or it may cause stomach upset. Diarrhea may occur while taking Aziwok 600 Tablet; stay hydrated and contact your doctor if it becomes severe. Stop taking Aziwok 600 Tablet and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or a history of heart rhythm problems before taking Aziwok 600 Tablet. Report symptoms such as palpitations, fainting, or severe dizziness promptly to your doctor. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they worsen.
