Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask low sugar symptoms), thyroid disorders, heart failure, conduction disorders (AV block), low blood pressure, severe peripheral vascular disease, and liver impairment. Do not stop beta-blocker abruptly (risk of rebound angina/HTN). Seek urgent care for severe dizziness/fainting, very slow pulse, worsening breathlessness or swelling. Not typically recommended in pregnancy unless advised; caution during breastfeeding.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with very low blood pressure or with severe narrowing of the aortic valve. Not for people with a very slow heart rate, certain heart block disorders, or uncontrolled heart failure. Generally avoided in severe asthma.

Other antihypertensives/diuretics (additive BP lowering), verapamil/diltiazem (risk of bradycardia/heart block), digoxin (bradycardia), antiarrhythmics like amiodarone (conduction issues), clonidine (rebound hypertension on withdrawal), NSAIDs (may reduce BP control), CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers affecting amlodipine (e.g., clarithromycin, azole antifungals; rifampicin), alcohol (increased dizziness)
