Osteoporosis

• •In Osteoporosis Osteoporosis is a common condition that causes bones to become fragile and brittle so that they break (fracture) more easily. Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Calinta Kit reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. It also helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Since osteoporosis doesn’t usually have any symptoms such as pain (until a fracture occurs) you might not ‘feel’ any immediate benefit from your treatment with Calinta Kit. Keep taking it until your doctor asks you to stop. Along with medicines
• •eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products
• •green leafy vegetables etc.

How it works

Calinta Kit is a combination of four medicines: Calcium, Calcitriol, Zinc and Ibandronic Acid which treat osteoporosis. Calcium is a form of vitamin D which helps your body effectively absorb Calcitriol and additionally supports the muscles needed to avoid falls. Calcitriol and Zinc are minerals which help build and maintain bones. Ibandronic Acid is a bisphosphonate which works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Calinta Kit is to be taken on an empty stomach.
