Clotrimazole is an imidazole antifungal. It inhibits ergosterol synthesis, disrupting the fungal cell membrane and stopping growth of susceptible fungi.
How to take Candid Ear Drops

Stay on the side for 2 minutes or put a cotton plug in the ear. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the drop in these areas. Do not try to clean inside your ear with cotton buds. If you stick buds or other objects into your ear, they can further damage your ear. Just wipe the outside of your ear with a clean cloth or tissue if any discharge appears. Do not use the medicine for a longer time without doctor consultation. Make sure not to use the open bottle more than 4 weeks.
