It slows down your heart rate and helps the heart beat with less force. It also relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and helps in reducing your risk of having a stroke

How it works

Carivalan 6.25mg/7.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines : Carvedilol and Ivabradine. Carvedilol is an alpha and beta blocker. It works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Ivabradine is a heart rate lowering medication. It works by reducing the heart rate which lowers the oxygen requirement of the heart. As a result, the heart works more efficiently.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Carivalan 6.25mg/7.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
