Cilidin -Trio Tablet contains Cilnidipine (10mg) + Olmesartan (20mg) + Chlorthalidone (12.5mg).
Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.
Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Cilidin -Trio as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Cilidin -Trio than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Cilidin -Trio are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

| Alcohol | Taking Chlorthalidone with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. |
| Kidney | Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet is not recommended in these patients. |
| Liver | Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cilidin Trio 20mg/10mg/12.5mg Tablet may be needed. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Cilidin -Trio. Some combinations can change how Cilidin -Trio works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Cilidin -Trio below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
