Same salt, different brand — what does that mean?

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Clocip B Cream. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.

All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.

Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.

Expert advice for Clocip B Cream

Apply a thin layer of Clocip-B Cream to clean, dry skin as directed by your doctor. Clocip-B Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or inside the vagina, and rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs. Wash your hands before and after applying Clocip-B Cream unless your hands are the treated area. Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings or tight bandages unless advised by your doctor. Use Clocip-B Cream only for the duration prescribed, as prolonged or unsupervised use of steroid-containing creams may thin the skin. Avoid applying Clocip-B Cream on large areas, the face, or private areas unless advised by your doctor. Do not mix Clocip-B Cream with other steroid creams or topical medicines unless instructed by your doctor. Keep the affected skin clean and dry, as moisture and humidity may worsen fungal infections. Stop using Clocip-B Cream and consult your doctor if severe burning, irritation, or worsening of the infection occurs. Consult your doctor if the infection spreads or does not improve after about 2 weeks of treatment. Do not share Clocip-B Cream with others, even if they have similar symptoms.
