In Asthma

Candid B opens the airways or calms the inflammation inside them, depending on its type, so breathing is easier and attacks are fewer. Delivered straight into the lungs, it works where it is needed with very little reaching the rest of the body.

In Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Candid B relaxes the airways so that air moves in and out more easily, reducing breathlessness and letting you walk further and do more before you have to stop.

In Fungal skin infection

Candid B kills the fungus on the skin or stops it growing, clearing the rash and the itch. Continuing for the full period, even after the skin looks clear, stops it coming back.

In Ringworm

Candid B clears the ring-shaped, itchy rash of ringworm and stops it spreading to other parts of the body or to other people.

In Athlete's foot

Candid B clears the itchy, peeling, cracked skin between the toes and on the soles, and helps stop the infection returning.

In Dandruff

Candid B controls the yeast that drives flaking and itching of the scalp, so dandruff clears and the scalp settles.

In Nail fungal infection

Candid B, applied to the nail, slowly clears a mild fungal nail infection as the healthy nail grows out.

Alcohol may worsen the side effects of this medicine. Limit it.

PregnancyUNSAFE

Candid-B Lotion may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br/>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingSAFE

Candid-B Lotion is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Not expected to affect your ability to drive.

KidneySAFE

No dose change is usually needed in kidney disease.

LiverCAUTION

Use with caution if you have liver disease. Your doctor may adjust the dose or monitor your liver function.

• Apply a thin layer of Candid-B Cream to clean, dry skin as directed by your doctor.
• Candid-B Cream is for external use only.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or inside the vagina, and rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.
• Wash your hands before and after applying Candid-B Cream unless your hands are the treated area.
• Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings or tight bandages unless advised by your doctor.
• Use Candid-B Cream only for the duration prescribed, as prolonged or unsupervised use of steroid-containing creams may thin the skin.
• Avoid applying Candid-B Cream on large areas, the face, or private areas unless advised by your doctor.
• Do not mix Candid-B Cream with other steroid creams or topical medicines unless instructed by your doctor.
