Expod 200 DT Tablet

Expod 200 Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin & soft-tissue, ear, blood, genital and lungs (pneumonia).

In Bacterial infection

Expod kills a wide range of bacteria by breaking down their cell walls, bringing the infection under control. Finishing the full course prevents it coming back.

In Chest infection

Expod treats bacterial infections of the chest, easing the cough, fever and breathlessness as the bacteria are cleared.

In Urinary infection

Expod clears the bacteria behind burning, frequency and pain on passing urine.

In Ear and throat infection

Expod treats bacterial infections of the ear, throat and sinuses, relieving the pain and fever they cause.

In Typhoid

Expod kills the typhoid bacteria in the blood and gut, bringing down the fever and preventing the complications of untreated typhoid.

Alcohol

Consuming alcohol with Expod 200 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Expod 200 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingUNSAFE

Expod 200 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.<br>Avoid prolonged use of Expod 200 Tablet , since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.

DrivingSAFE

Not expected to affect your ability to drive.

KidneyCAUTION

Expod 200 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Expod 200 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

LiverSAFE

Expod 200 Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Expod 200 Tablet is recommended.
