Fine 9D Tablet

Fine 9d Tablet is a combination of five medicines : L-Methyl Folate, Methylcobalamin, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, Vitamin D3, and Docosahexanoic acid (dha). L-methylfolate is the primary biologically active isomer of folic acid and the primary form of folate in circulation. Folic Acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn babys brain and spinal cord. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is a nutritional supplement that provides essential nutrients to our body and improves overall health. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D. It raises vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from food. Docosahexaenoic acid (dha) belongs to the class of medications called nutritional supplements. Dha plays a vital role in brain development. Dha decreases cholesterol and triglyceride levels, inhibits platelet aggregation and oxidation of Ldl, decreases the synthesis of inflammatory markers such as prostaglandins. Overall, Dha plays a vital role in reducing the heart and circulatory disease risks.

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely to cause serious harm, because the body passes surplus B vitamins out in the urine. It may cause loose motions and a small increase in bleeding tendency. It can raise blood calcium dangerously, causing thirst, frequent urination, vomiting, confusion and kidney damage. It in very large doses taken over months can itself damage nerves, causing numbness and unsteadiness. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect. May add to the effect of blood thinners and antiplatelet medicines. Calcium reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, several antibiotics and iron — separate them by a few hours. Water tablets of the thiazide group raise calcium further when combined.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.

A supplement corrects a deficiency; it is not a general energy tonic. If you are on it for nerve symptoms, keep your review appointment so the underlying cause is looked for. Taking it with a meal, or keeping the capsules in the fridge, reduces fishy burps. Continue your diet and exercise alongside it. Take calcium with food, and split the day's total if you take a large amount. Sunlight helps your body make its own vitamin D. Have your level rechecked as your doctor advises rather than continuing high doses indefinitely.
