How to take Flutiflo FT Nasal Spray

Shake well before use, gently blow your nose, tilt your head forward, insert nozzle into nostril, press down on the pump, breathe in gently, repeat in other nostril

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of flutiFLO Nasal Spray, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not use extra to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause a racing heart, marked tremor, headache and a fall in blood potassium. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Warnings and precautions

Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after every steroid inhaler dose to prevent thrush and hoarseness. Before using flutiFLO Nasal Spray, inform your doctor if you have an infection in your nose or have recently had any surgery on your nose. Do not increase the prescribed dose and inform the doctor if your symptoms do not improve or worsen. Avoid using flutiFLO Nasal Spray immediately after washing your face. If it is mixed with certain soaps or diluted with water, its effectiveness may be reduced. Do not share the bottle with anyone else so that you do not spread germs. Do not use this medicine for longer periods of time than is advised by the doctor.
