Maintenance treatment of asthma, Maintenance treatment of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) to reduce symptoms and prevent exacerbations

How it works

Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation and swelling. Formoterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes bronchial muscles to keep airways open for easier breathing.

Directions for use

For inhalation use only with a compatible Rotahaler/rotacap inhaler device. Use exactly as prescribed, usually 1 rotacap twice daily; do not swallow the rotacap. Rinse mouth and gargle with water after each use to reduce risk of oral thrush; use regularly for best control and not for sudden breathlessness (keep a rescue inhaler if prescribed).
